"Moe" is one of our up and coming colts. He had "pizazz" and "personality plus" from the start. We knew right away there was something special about him. He is the type of horse you can literally do ANYTHING to and he does not mind one bit. He really enjoys any attention and is one of those rare horses that is born already broke to ride and totally bomb proof!
Unfortunately I don't have any spectacular pictures of him at this time. I waited all summer to take some and he was SO growthy and gangly that I just never felt it was a good time for a photo shoot.
I am planning on getting some either this winter or spring so show that he has matured into a beautiful and correct pleasure horse. Moe's movement is amazing. He has a beautiful trot with nice extension and flowing movement. He also can really slow it down and do an adorable little job. His lope or canter looks like he is moving in slow motion and is very even and natural. His head set is naturally low and level making him a very relaxed mover. We had planned on showing him in Lunge Line is yearling year but a superficial cut to a hind leg prevented him for showing. Now he is all healed up and 100% sound. We hope to get him in the show ring in the coming year as a two year old so people can see the potential of this amazing colt.
Moe is going to excel in both Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle. We expect him to be a wonderful all-around horse.
We feel with his stellar movement, top notch pedigree and loving & laid back disposition that he will sire some lovely show stoppers!
At this time, we are working on some DNA testing because we suspect that he may be homozygous for the Roan Gene and possibly Bay gene dominant! Please check back with us for the status of those results!
